Drumline members will be working for tips to raise money to be used towards the purchase of needed equipment. Come any time between 5 and 8 pm and look for your drumline members! We will be receiving 15% of all receipts that are put into the Lamar receipt bucket, plus tips. So pass this on to your friends and families and come hungry! Thank you as always for your support!

BARNES AND NOBLE FUNDRAISER — Come to the Barnes & Noble at the parks mall this Friday from 5pm — 8pm. The LHS Color Guard will be performing and during that time a percentage of all sales will go to the color guard. Do your holiday shopping and support the band program at the same time! See you on Friday!

THURSDAY FOOTBALL — The call time for the game tomorrow is 7:15pm. The game starts at 9:00pm. The students will be released as soon as we get back to Lamar and unload. The band students will have mandatory study hall on Friday during their band classes. The band staff understands that this is a very late performance on a school night. We are doing our best to accommodate the students and help them succeed in their classes. We will need some parents to chaperone and push equipment on the field for our halftime show. The directors do not know exactly how many field passes we will have but we should have enough for the normal crew. We look forward to a fun evening and hope the students enjoy their performance in Cowboys stadium.

SPRING TRIP — The band is planning a trip to South Padre Island, TX in April to compete in the Texas Music Festival. Further information is available from Mr. Lang and contracts and the deposit are due by Nov. 16th

LETTER JACKETS — Letter jackets have been ordered through sportswear world. They say the order should arrive in about 2 weeks.

BAND HOODIES — The LHS Band hoodies are going fast! We still have some in every size. They are $25 and checks are made to the LBBC.

ALL CITY / REGION — The students should have already turned in their all-city / all-region forms. The all-city fee is $10 and the all-region fee is $15.
